I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Dr. Carole Gilmore, PhD, LPC-S. I attended Southern Methodist University’s Counseling Program for the completion of my Master’s degree. I am qualified to counsel under the direct supervision of Dr. Gilmore, PhD, LPC-S, and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. I majored in Psychology with a minor in Early Childhood Education. My formal education, both undergraduate and graduate, has prepared me to counsel adults, addictions, families, couples, groups, and children/adolescents.
As the founder of M.E. Counseling, I want to guide you on the path to mental well-being, where growth is nurtured, resilience is cultivated, and positive change blossoms because every journey deserves a compassionate companion. I'd be happy to walk with you on your journey. I am interested in safety, genuine connections, and supporting others. My goal is to create a sense of awareness and acceptance throughout this process. I look at the client as a whole and establish goals that fit into your life. I encourage healthy communication patterns, facilitate a safe space for processing, and guide you toward meaning and purpose. I enjoy working with those from all walks of life experiencing stressful life events such as anxiety, depression, grief, eating disorders, and life transitions.
